Since 1980, the doctors of OrthoWest, P.C. have been providing the best orthopaedic care in the region, and they are proud to be the official orthopaedic team for your UNO Mavericks. OrthoWest specializes in sports medicine, workers’ compensation, ACL and carpal tunnel injuries, rotator cuff tears, ankle sprains, total joint replacement, and advanced surgical techniques, including computer-assisted surgery and advanced cartilage repair. Dr. Michael Walsh has been the team orthopaedic surgeon for UNO Athletics for 32 years. And now he’s at UNO Health Services every Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The clinic is free for all student athletes, but is also conveniently available for all faculty and staff.
